The Grille at Watermark
Un-Chain yourself and experience a really good meal in a great setting.
Watermark Country Club has been unique over these last 9 years in that it has been the only private club to have an open to the public restaurant and banquet facility. The Grille at Watermark has a menu of items to please everyone whether you love wood-fired pizzas made with homemade dough, flame grilled Alaskan salmon or gourmet salads with grilled chicken, steak or fried calamari. There's even a rumor that the Grille's burger is the best in town. The relaxing atmosphere, friendly service and well prepared food make the Grille a restaurant that meets the needs of all diners.
The main dining room is a bit more formal but still feels relaxing to be in. It has a large open area with very high ceilings and hanging chandeliers but also has more intimate booth seating and one special table in front of the fireplace. The lounge and bar is a more laid back area that features family friendly large tables, business casual soft seating by a fireplace and high top tables for sipping beers after golf or work. The lounge also has great seating right at its beautiful mahogany and stainless steel bar. The Grille also features a massive outdoor deck that is incredibly relaxing to sit out on during the late spring through early fall. Overlooking the golf course, with umbrellas to shield the warm sun during the day and gas lamps for the evenings, the atmosphere can't be beat for outdoor dining.
The Grille is an award winning restaurant as well. The Grand Rapids Magazine has awarded it a winner in the casual dining category four times. From Chef Eric Chaitin, to his cooks, to the wait staff and bartenders, they are all very proud of what has been accomplished at the Grille. The menu is changed twice a year with several items staying on both menus because they have just become too popular to remove. A word from Chef Eric Chaitin.
Food is sustenance for the soul and body. Here at the Grille we focus on providing the highest quality fresh ingredients, presented in an artistically pleasing way. I buy many foods locally and seasonally. Our menu changes with the seasons and with the foods that are available through local farmers. By purchasing locally, we are supporting our community and enjoying the freshest produce and meats Michigan can offer.
